About Me

My name is Heather, I am a qualified counsellor and a full member of the BACP, ethical framework and follow the terms, conditions, policies and procedures that are set out by the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I am also a member of Anxiety Uk and carry out EAP work for the charity.

I am a friendly and supportive practitioner who will help you feel relaxed and at ease, whilst maintaining a professional approach to counselling.  I will encourage you to talk, discuss and explore any issues that may be having a negative effect on your life.  I will provide a safe, confidential space where we will work together to come up with strategies and resolutions to help you move forward into a better place. My work ethic is person-centred meaning that I concentrate on you as an individual who is unique in every way and because you are unique I can draw on various modalities and ways of working to suit your particular needs. 

I enjoy working with children and young people as well as adults and the elderly, I hold a full DBS certificate for working with children and vulnerable people..
